Project Description

Leveraging a large-scale dataset (ABCD) we are examining both environmental and genetic impacts on the development of delay discounting and subsequent substance misuse and other risky behaviors among approximately 10,000 youth recruited from across the country. Adolescents (ages 11-21) taking part in a national study of risk factors for substance misuse and other mental and behavioral health disorders (the Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development study; ABCD).
